None. वंशावली has no single romanization, so people spell it Bamsawali, Bansawali, Banshawali, Vanshavali, Vansawali, Banshabali, Bansabali, Vamshavali, Wanshawali, Wansawali and other ways - they all mean the same thing. What is a वंशावली (Vanshavali)?
A वंशावली is a record of lineage from your ancestors down to the present generation - who was born in which generation, whose child is whose, and how family members are related. Traditionally it was kept in a handwritten ledger; Bamsawali keeps that same record safe, digitally.
How do I build a वंशावली online?
Download the Bamsawali app, add your own name, then add your father, grandfather and children. You can add names, birth dates, gotra and photos, and share the finished family tree with your relatives.
